“SPARKLING TASTINGS” PAIRING WINE AND GEMSTONES

 
 

All The Brilliants developed a series of memorable experiences on themes, pairing gemstones and wine. The goal was to create community and accessible conversations around “value” and learn questions to ask when buying both jewelry and wine.

AND… there is epic culinary magic!

 
 
 

What do gemstones and wine have in common?

They are both expressions of “terroir” - of the earth!

Just as elements in the soil determine the way a wine tastes, minerals present in the earth (when a gemstone was formed) impact the way a gem looks. Many of the factors that impact the value of wine are the same for gemstones!

In collaboration with celebrated chef Rob Guimond and Emi Guimond of Public Display of Affection, we host engaging educational experiences that surprise and delight.

 
 

Guests are presented with 3 pairings with profiles of the wine and gemstones.

With each wine, the corresponding gem is circulated so that every attendee can personally discover the stone.

Guests will be asked to participate in a “game”. Depending on the theme, the game is to guess which is the most valuable pairing, or to guess the identity of the gemstones. Questions and conversations across the table are encouraged.

At the conclusion, the most “valuable” pairing or identity of the gems will be revealed. As a grand finale, a phenomenal, collector level gemstone is presented.

SPARKLING TASTING EXAMPLES ARE:


Orange Wine X Orange Gemstones - an experience paring natural skin contact wines and responsibly sourced orange gemstones.

Unexpected Sparkle - an experience of rosé, orange and white sparkling wines from unexpected regions and pink, orange, and colorless gemstones whose identities are unexpected.

Gemstone only experiences are tailored to private gatherings in homes or offices as a way to entertain friends, colleagues, or valued clients.

Ruby Hues - a Sparkling Tasting of ruby and ruby-hued gemstones, presented to a group of extraordinary women lawyers who fight for women.

Vedic Gem Salon - a confidential experience that reveals what gemstones will amplify your energy and personal power informed by your Vedic astrology chart. These are often one-on-one or small gatherings with sisters, besties, or bridal showers.
