Buying a gemstone should be full of wonder, exciting, and empowering.
The Skinny on Gemstones series is designed to make this a reality.
The educational goal is to decode the “value” of gemstones, things to know and questions to ask when looking for a gemstone for a particular kind of jewelry.
Beyond this, as more consumers are making conscious purchases that align with their values, clarifying what responsible sourcing means is more important than ever. This includes transparency in the supply chain, conflict-free, and protecting people, their skills and the natural environment be it land or sea.

POWER WOMAN SERIES
The Power Woman series is a response to movements supporting women. Girls and women are powerful agents for positive change - and the key to ensure our world becomes a better place for everyone.
Women have left their marks across all civilizations and time. Sometimes we have oral or written histories about these women, but jewelry (and other metal and stone objects) can provide concrete evidence about our ancestors’ values, beliefs, culture - and how global we always have been.
Jewelry was a reflection of what is of meaning and value to our ancestors and All The Brilliants aims to restore that connection.
This series weaves a connection between historical Power Women, jewelry/objects of her time, and contemporary pieces that relate to these references.

When it comes to choosing an engagement ring or any ring that is worn every day, jewelry “ingredients” matter!
Such rings will endure contact with hard surfaces, so gemstones on the hard side of the Mohs Scale of Hardness is a good choice, such as diamond or sapphire.
